PSPlytics (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an independent platform that provides visibility into payment provider performance using public signals and opt-in data.
Your trust matters to us. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.


1. What PSPlytics Is (and Is Not)

PSPlytics is not:

  • a payment processor
  • a payment orchestrator
  • a wallet, bank, or money services business

We do not move funds, do not process payments, and do not have access to customer money.

We provide analytics and insights only.


2. Information We Collect

We collect three broad categories of information.

A. Account & Workspace Information

When you create an account, we may collect:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Company name
  • Role or job title (optional)

This information is used only to:

  • create and manage your workspace
  • communicate with you about the product
  • provide support

B. Usage & Platform Data

We collect limited technical data such as:

  • pages visited
  • features used
  • timestamps
  • browser and device type (non-identifying)

This helps us:

  • improve product usability
  • fix bugs
  • understand feature adoption

We do not sell this data.


C. Telemetry & Performance Data

Users may provide payment performance telemetry to PSPlytics.

This may include:

  • transaction success/failure indicators
  • response times or latency ranges
  • error categories (timeouts, network errors, provider errors)
  • timestamps
  • provider, rail, and country metadata

Important safeguards:

  • Telemetry is aggregated
  • Telemetry is anonymised
  • We do not collect:
    • end-customer names
    • card numbers
    • bank account details
    • personal financial data
    • transaction amounts tied to individuals


3. Public Data Sources

PSPlytics also uses publicly available information, such as:

  • provider status pages
  • incident disclosures
  • uptime announcements
  • maintenance notices

This data is already public and is used for analytical purposes only.


4. How We Use Data

We use collected data to:

  • display provider performance insights
  • surface incidents and availability trends
  • improve routing intelligence
  • improve platform reliability and accuracy

We do not use data for advertising or resale.


5. Aggregation & Anonymisation

Where merchant-provided telemetry is used:

  • it is combined across multiple sources
  • individual merchants are never identified
  • results are presented as trends, ranges, or signals

No competitor or provider can see your individual data.


6. Data Sharing

We may share data only:

  • in aggregated, anonymised form
  • when legally required (court order, lawful request)
  • with infrastructure providers strictly necessary to operate the platform (e.g. hosting)

We do not share identifiable merchant telemetry with payment providers.


7. Data Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary to:

  • operate the platform
  • improve accuracy over time
  • meet legal or compliance obligations

You may request deletion of your account data at any time.


8. Cookies

We use minimal cookies to:

  • keep you logged in
  • remember preferences
  • protect against abuse

We do not use third-party advertising cookies.


9. Your Rights

You may:

  • request access to your data
  • request correction or deletion
  • disable telemetry sharing at any time
